UVEX SGL 104 // New!

Snapseed-1.igYes, we are now officially in the sweet 60’s and 70’s of a Minnesotan Spring. With the Sun finally out for stretches that last longer than thirty minutes at a time, it’s time to think about protection. Specifically, eye protection.

UVEX makes top of the line helmets, but they got their start in safety glasses. Who better then to create a pair of glasses that not only shield your eyes from harmful UV rays, but also from flying debris that may be kicked up by fellow road users? Throw in a heavy dose of Euro-Style, a slight touch of common-sense lens shape and adjustable ear and nose pieces  and you have yourself the 2013 SGL 104.

With three interchangeable lenses – Dark, Orange and Clear – there’s a lens for every event. And with the SGL 104’s new Pin-Lock system, there is no lens distortion that can sometimes be evident with a typical pressure secured lenses. It also makes changing out lenses a breeze, something that is welcome to myself, a person who’s had trouble breaking frames in the past. (Expensive ones at that, uffda…).

But more than that, they just look good. Super Euro, lots of common-sense technology and UVEX’s high end construction combine to make a heck of a pair of glasses. And all for only $130.

If you’re looking for a stylish new pair of shades for your rides this year, come on in and try a pair today!
