What if I don’t know what kind of bike I want?
That’s great! Ask any of our employees for a Bicycles 101 quick tutorial and we’ll guide you through all the different types of bikes. There’s no one answer to the question of what bike is right for you. Our goal is to have you understand what’s available, try out as many bikes as you need to and be able to make a solid decision about which bike is right for you.
Why isn’t all of your inventory on your website?
As passionate cyclists, we are interested in selling cycling to people and not just selling cycling parts. One of the greatest resources you can have is a relationship with a bike shop and that relationship just can’t develop by browsing our website alone. I wouldn’t have gotten into cycling if it wasn’t for the enthusiasm of a local bike shop that said “trust me,” and I did.
Do I have to wear spandex?
I hope not. I rarely do; it would be a shame if it was required! One of the greatest things about riding a bike is that anyone can do it. All you need is a bike!
I’m really interested in something you don’t carry. Can I still get it?
Maybe. One of our core values is only doing what we can stand behind and what we know how to do really well. If we’re out of our league, we’ll let you know and help you find someone who can help you, even if that means sending you to one of our competitors.
I see a lot of racer stuff; are you just a racing store?
No. Our main focus was to fill the need for a local, community-based neighborhood bicycle shop in the Selby-Dale neighborhood. As passionate and active cyclists we are also interested in supporting other passionate cyclists in every discipline we can. This includes bicycle racing, commuting and touring.
